Anyway the widow is better than the sin its DPS is not that much less with torps and it jams pretty nicely. You should not need to waste a slot on a target painter, point web or any thing similar since the recons in the gang with you should be doing that. The sin is like a bad domi it tanks less has less potential DPS and less ability to fit other modules domis would use as alternatives in the highs (nos/neut/RR/whatever).
As for a few other peoples comments:
1. Fleet fights should irrelavent as you should never get the widow into a big fleet fight
2. BO gangs are mean to choose their targets sneak in murder them then disappear back into the shadows like an assasin so you should not be taking on more than you can handle
3. Although you mak have a falcon along to help jam its still useful for the widow to be able to jam those extra people the falcon misses. While normally too many ECM boats spoils things if one of them is being shot at it knows who has not been jammed by any others making it more effective and less likely to cross jam. Also having the widow pilot FCing would probably be worth avoiding but then i know there are some widow pilots that do FC. |
